A Monaghan woman has been raising awareness of Daffodil Day which this Friday, March 20th.
Deborah McGeough, from Emyvale, experienced the support of Irish Cancer Society when she and her father both faced cancer.
She praised it for the practical help offered to them and the way it helps families navigate treatment and recovery.

Daffodil Day is the group's big fundraiser, volunteers will be out and about on Friday in local towns and villages.
Funds raised will go towards cancer research, patient services, and advocacy work done by the Irish Cancer Society.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Deborah outlined the supports her family felt from the group.
