Monaghan's 14 day incidence rate drops below 1,000 for first time since January 2nd

10 more deaths related to Covid-19 were announced last night, as well as 1,062 cases.

Latest figures show there were 1,436 people in hospital with the disease, while 206 were receiving treatment in ICU.

The national 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 has now fallen to 478 - which is the lowest it's been since January 2nd.

Monaghan's 14 day incidence rate has dropped below 1,000 for the first time since January 2nd.

Despite recording more cases yesterday at 50, when compared to 23 on Monday the incidence rate has dropped to 990.5.

Cavan meanwhile recorded 6 cases down on the previous days figure.

It currently has the 12th highest rate nationally at just over 430, while Monaghan remains at the top of the table.
