Monaghan's "Fridays for Future" group hoping to raise climate change awareness among young people

Monaghan’s “Fridays for Future” group is hoping to raise awareness of climate change among young people.

The movement was started by Greta Thunberg who went on strike from school one day a week, with the idea later going international.

The group has been holding online meetings and strikes to gain support during the pandemic.

While they are limited in what they can do until schools return, Adam Lambe from the group explained their first initiative.
