“Be Buddies Not Bullies” was established in Eden’s name to raise money for Irish anti-bullying charities.

A local mental health advocate hopes funds raised by an initiative in memory of the late Eden Heaslip will create a confidential help line for people who are experiencing bullying.

Eden Heaslip by suicide last year after a period of bullying.

Cavan native Leanne Coyle is behind the Smile for Me project, which is a nationwide mental health awareness campaign.

She has since become involved in “Be Buddies Not Bullies”, an initiative established in Eden’s name to raise money for Irish anti-bullying charities.

Be Buddies Not Bullies stickers can be purchased on the Smile For Me Facebook page and a link to the campaign’s Go Fund Me page can also be found there.
