Cavan Roads Policing Unit accompanied by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) detained two vehicles yesterday after drivers were discovered motoring without insurance. The drivers were also found to be travelling without NCT or tax and were subsequently charged accordingly.
Gardai also arrested two drivers for drink and drug driving. Meanwhile, Gardai in Belturbet are investigating the theft of a number of ceramic garden pots that were stolen from outside a house in Redhills.
The incident occurred at approximately 5am on Tuesday the 30th of May and Gardai in Ballyconnell are asking anyone with information to contact them on 049 9525580.
