A motorist has been arrested following a single-vehicle collision in Carrickmacross on Monday morning.
Carrickmacross Gardai attended to the collision at around 8am in the townland of Greaghdrumit.
The driver had lost control and skidded off the road, hitting a ditch.

A roadside oral fluid test soon found that the driver tested positive for cannabis, cocaine and benzodiazepines.
The driver was arrested and faces a court appearance.
