Gardai in Cavan stopped a motorist who was driving without insurance or NCT over the weekend.
The driver was reported to Gardai in Bailieboro for driving erratically on the wrong side of the road in Shercock.
The vehicle was subsequently intercepted and detained under Sec 41 Road Traffic Act.

The driver was also discovered to be the holder of a provisional driving licence.
He has been charged accordingly and will appear before the district court in due course.
