Gardai in Cavan were on patrol over the weekend when they initially detected a car without road tax.
Following the car being stopped it transpired the driver was the holder of a learner permit and was driving while unaccompanied.
There was also no current certificate of insurance or NCT on the vehicle.

The car was taken off the road and fixed payment notices were issued for the four offences.
The driver will now face a Court appearance.
