Motorists are being advised to expect additional traffic in Monaghan town tomorrow as athletes take to the streets.
Monaghan Phoenix is hosting their marathon festival this weekend, with additional traffic in the area as a result.
The majority of the marathon and half-marathon tomorrow will take place in Rossmore Forest Park, but both courses include a loop of the town streets first.

The route takes in the Clones Road, Dublin Street and Glaslough Street and gets underway at 9am.
