'The number of people attending the event is up on previous years'

The recent Muckno Mania has been hailed as a "massive success" after a couple of difficult years.

The Castleblayney family festival, now in its 22nd year, was forced to take a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cathaoirleach of the local MD, Aidan Campbell, told a recent meeting that the number of people attending the event is up on previous years.

He also pointed out the importance of thanking them for their hard work and dedication to the cause.
