Mullagh Fair Day to host Bald is Beautiful event

The Mullagh Fair Day is taking place this week.

The build up to the big day on Sunday is underway in the community.

The event promises to be jam-packed, with live performances, street dancing, local artists & crafts, food, and more.

There is something for the whole family, with a dog show, pig roasting, sheep racing, Truck Pulling, and a traditional Threshing Display.

This year the event is celebrating Bald is Beautiful, coinciding with the US National Bald Day which is taking place on Saturday.

Vice-Chairperson Shane P. O'Reilly told Joe Finnegan how the idea came about.
