There hasn't been a winner of the €19 million lotto jackpot for six months.

The operator of the National Lottery will tell an Oireachtas Committee today it has sought regulatory approval for a ‘must-be-won draw’.

It follows controversy after there has been no winner of the €19 million lotto jackpot for six months.

The head of Premier Lotteries Ireland will tell the Finance Committee it wants to ensure a long wait for a capped jackpot win cannot occur again.
