- 271 people received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine at walk-in clinics across the Northern Sound region over the weekend.
The walk-in centres were in operation at the Hotel Kilmore in Cavan Town and the Glencarne Hotel in Castleblayney.
On Saturday and Sunday, 148 first doses were administered in the Hotel Kilmore, while 123 first doses were given out in the Glencarne Hotel.

57 people received their second jab in Cavan, with 56 receiving their second dose in Monaghan.
The most recent HPSC 14 day report revealed Monaghan has the highest 14-day incidence rate of the virus, with Cavan coming third.
Monaghan's incidence rate is almost treble the national average, while Cavan's is just shy of double the national average.
