A new book entitled Faith, Hard work and Endurance which is selected tales of the Cavan Diaspora is to be launched later this week.
The booked written, by Jonathan Smyth, is a specially commissioned book by Cavan County Council for the Cavan Calling Diaspora Festival,
The Cavan Calling event is now underway and will run for the next five days.

The book Jonathan Smyth details over 100 people with Cavan connections and will be launched at the Johnston Central Library on Friday at 6.00pm.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend the evening launch.
Mr Smyth says the book is very much Cavan with so many stories on the characters that at one stage had connections with the Breffni County.
