St Michael's National School in Donaghmoyne has received approval to proceed to tender for a new classroom.
Minister for Education, Norman Foley made the announcement yesterday evening.
The approval has been made under the Additional Accommodation Scheme. .

Deputy Niamh Smyth thanked the Minister for her support.
She also congratulated everyone who had endeavoured to bring the project to fruition.
"I am delighted to receive confirmation that the school has received approval," she added.
