New law to penalise ownership of dogs with cropped ears

People who look to source or import dogs with cropped ears could face penalties under proposed legislation.

The ISPCA has welcomed the comments from the Agriculture Minister.

Cropping the outside of a dog's ear is already banned but new plans would see restrictions on ownership and importation.
