New local link services have been announced for Co Cavan.
The C2 and C3 routes in Co. Cavan, operated by Local Link Cavan/Monaghan, are also extended and offer additional evening and weekend services.
Enhanced TFI Local Link Route C2 has been extended to Kilnaleck, with Route C3 now servicing Swellan as well as Cavan General Hospital and Cavan Bus Station. Routes C2 & C3 operate 8 daily return services Monday to Saturday with 3 additional evening return services on Friday and Saturday.
There is also 7 daily return services on Sunday, providing peak-time and evening services for commuters. The Connecting Ireland Programme of new and enhanced bus routes, designed and implemented by the National Transport Authority (NTA), has reached a significant milestone.
This year over 60 new and enhanced Connecting Ireland bus services have been launched, strengthening existing services and connecting more towns and townlands across the state.
