Northern Sound's Sheila Naughton has won the Special Recognition Award at this year's Headline Mental Health Media Awards.
The Special Recognition Award celebrates those who have a lived experience of mental ill health and share their story to help and educate a wider audience.
Sheila was awarded for her work in raising awareness of eating disorders.

Northern Sound's Aaron McElroy was also nominated for his work around men's mental health, but came up short in the Mental Health Broadcasting, Short Form category.
Elsewhere, Clones native Aaron Hughes was also nominated in the Special Recognition category for an interview he gave to Northern Sound News on his struggles with mental ill health.
