A Do Not Consume notice remains in place on the Billis-Lavey Group Water Scheme in Cavan.
The notice has been in place since August after elevated levels of manganese were found in the supply.
Cavan County Council today issued an update, saying the notice remains in place and consumers are urged to follow the advice set out.

It says alternative supplies have been made available.
