The National Public Health Emergency team will make a call on Thursday on whether or not Level 3 is working. 825 cases were confirmed yesterday

The National Public Health Emergency team will make a call on Thursday on whether or not Level 3 is working.

825 cases were confirmed yesterday evening, along with 1 additional death.

39 in Cavan, and Monaghan saw another 21 cases confirmed.

Meanwhile 15 more cases have been added for Co Longford, 6 more have been added in Leitrim, and 3 more have been declared for Roscommon.

The national 14 day incidence rate is now 167 per 100 thousand people, a 43 percent increase in the past week.

Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan says Level 3 has had some impact in Dublin, where it's been in place for four weeks.

However, he says cases are beginning to grow in the capital again.
