The Nuremore Hotel in Carrickmacross will go on sale in the coming week. Cavan-Monaghan TD Heather Humphreys confirmed the news overnight.
The Minister for Rural and Community Development told Northern Sound she has received confirmation from the liquidator that the legal process on the sale of the landmark hotel is completed in preparation for its sale.
Describing it as a "hugely positive development" Minister Humphreys said the liquidator reports there "has already been strong interest in the Nuremore from the hospitality sector".
