The chair of the Oireachtas Media Committee will discuss future plans for RTÉ next week.
Oireachtas Media Committee Chair Alan Kelly will discuss RTÉ's revelation it has written off 3.6 million euro on a partly failed IT project when he meets Kevin Bakhurst on Thursday.
He says this is something he believes his colleagues on the Committee will want to focus on in the coming weeks.

They will also discuss future plans for the station, the restructuring programme, and a range of legacy issues in the organisation.
Alan Kelly says he's looking forward to their meeting and discussion on Thursday and believes it's a welcome opportunity.
