The Aontú leader says "we need to bury these cables once and for all".

Aontú is hosting an online public meeting this evening to discuss its Bill seeking the undergrounding of the North South Interconnector.

The Bill calls on the government to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the full cost of over-grounding the cables.
