Brian says this project will act as a platform for people to come forward and share their stories in a safe and trusting environment.

A podcast series being produced in co-operation with Justice for the Forgotten and the Monaghan Bombing Community Link Project are seeking people to share their stories, experiences and memories about the Monaghan Bombing. The podcast series is being run to promote and raise awareness of the Dublin/Monaghan Bombings which took place on the 17th of May 1974.

An open call is being issued for people to come and record their story on Friday the 2nd of February between 10am-2pm at the Market House in Monaghan Town. Speaking to Northern Sound, Brian Clerkin of the Monaghan Bombing Community Link Project believes important stories will be lost unless a "huge effort" is made to collect, document and archive them. The podcast series will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the bombing later this year. Brian added, "The fabric of Monaghan town changes all the time and as the years go by Monaghan loses its characters and their stories."
