Fuels for Ireland will meet at the Department of Finance today to discuss the outlook for fuel prices.
The industry says recent events in the Middle East have shown how quickly global oil markets can change.
It says uncertainty remains despite prices easing from recent highs.
The group is also expected to raise concerns about the planned return of higher fuel excise duties.
The Government has said it will continue to monitor the situation while restoring the tax by the end of the year.
