Over 300 people were on waiting lists for home support services in Cavan and Monaghan at the end of May.
The figures come following a question raised by local TD David Maxwell in the Dáil yesterday.
It was also revealed there were 33 new applicants, and 269 people already receiving support who require additional hours.
