A Cavan Councillor is calling on people within the county to adhere to the covid-19 guidelines following a spike in cases.
Fine Gael's TP O'Reilly says every effort is needed and that we need to practice extra caution to prevent a localised lockdown, like that seen in Kildare, Laois, and Offaly.
His warning comes following a spike of confirmed covid-19 cases over the weekend - 200 on Saturday and 66 yesterday.
