People in Cavan and Monaghan are being encouraged to donate blood as supply becomes crucial.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is in the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan until Thursday, and in Cavan town next week.
National Donor Services Manager Stephen Cousins says it's always been difficult to meet targets during summer.
