People struggling financially over the festive season advised to contact Cavan LCDC

Local families or individuals struggling financially this time of year are advised to contact the Cavan LCDC.

Terry Hyland is the CEO of the Local Community Development Committee and says they deal with people from across the county with complex needs.

This can range from issues around access to education, fuel poverty, financial strain, transport issues and food poverty.

He says that the festive season can bring additional strain to more vulnerable members of the community :
