Planning permission has been refused for 36 houses in Cavan Town.
Latt Properties Ltd had applied to Cavan County Council in April of this year for the mixed residential development.
The dwellings that permission was sought for was a mix of 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bedroom homes at the Creighan site location in the town.

27 submissions for were submitted to Cavan County Council against the planned development that would have seen a new junction on to the R395 Ballinagh Road.
County planners refused the application by Latt Properties Ltd with 1 condition attached in recent days.
