Planning permission is being sought for the development of a glamping site in County Cavan.
The works would consist of six glamping pods, a single storey service building, internal paths, and a car parking area.
The proposed site for the development is located around three kilometres from Bailieborough, along the R191 Bailieborough to Moynalty Road.

The glamping pods are described as "modest and relatively small in size" and designed to "blend into the existing landscapes".
The planning application adds that "there is a greater need now more than ever for the proposed development as a result of the covid-19 pandemic" because "staycations are now the preferred holiday".
