Planning permission is being sought for the "restoration and adaptive re-use" of The Goods Shed in Crossdoney, Co Cavan.

The proposed re-use will see the building, which is a protected structure, converted into four self-contained apartments with domestic storage space.

The works are described as "essential" and "borne out of necessity, as the building has fallen into a state of disrepair".
