The review which is to be published today says the Crossmaglen police station will close.

Police stations in south Armagh could have signs in Irish, according to PSNI report.

The review which is to be published today says officers will no longer carry rifles in south Armagh, while Crossmaglen police station will close.

The review followed criticism of Chief Constable Simon Byrne for posing with heavily armed officers at Crossmaglen station on Christmas Day in 2019.

It is also recommended that there be a stronger focus on a co-operative approach to working with Gardai to police border areas.

Speaking on BBC Radio Ulster, the DUP's Jim Wells says today's proposals are a disgrace.
