An electrical recycling drop off day is taking place in Castleblayney Lidl Car Park this month.
This gives people an opportunity to declutter and recycle any old, broken or unused household electrical items.
Any household item with a plug, cable or battery, large or small, from TVs, washing machines, IT equipment and power tools to mobile phones, battery-operated toys and wireless ear buds can be dropped off.
Monaghan County Council is reminding people not to forget to support Batteries for Barretstown and bring your used batteries for recycling.
It'll take place on Saturday 27th September from 10am to 4pm.
