Refurbishment works underway at local swimming pool

Monaghan County Council is currently progressing refurbishment works to the wet side changing village at a local swimming pool. The project is funded under the 2023 Sports Capital and Equipment Programme. The changing village in Coral Leisure Centre is original since the centre opened in 2006 and is displaying signs of wear, tear and deterioration.

The funding allocation of 113,000 along with Monaghan County Council's 30% match contribution will allow the complete removal and replacement of the changing village cubicles, lockers and the upgrade of showers, taps and various plumbing items within the changing village. Works are scheduled for completion in early December 2023.
