The risk of flooding hasn't gone away, despite rain clearing.
The National Emergency Co-ordination Group is due to meet again today, as it continues to monitor river levels after almost two weeks of heavy rain.
The group says surface flooding is still a problem in some parts of the country.
But Holly O'Neill, Forecaster with Met Éireann, says we can expect some brighter spells over the weekend:
