Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the N3 near Burrenrea, Co. Cavan this morning.
The collision between a tractor and a truck occurred at approximately 11:40am.
The driver of the tractor, a male in his 60s, was transferred by air ambulance to St. James’ Hospital, Dublin for treatment of serious injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.
The road, which had been closed for a period, has since reopened.
Investigations are ongoing.
