The R194 from Virginia to Ballyjamesduff will be closed for the next two weeks due to road improvement works.
The route will be closed from this morning and will remain closed until Friday the 8th of September.
Cavan County Council say diversions will be in place and signposted in the area.

Northbound and Southbound traffic on the N3 are being asked to take the R196 during this road closure period.
