Ukraine says Russia's long-anticipated assault on the Donbas region in the east of the country has begun.
Ukrainian media's reported a series of explosions along the front line, with air raid sirens going off.
Moscow has refocused its efforts after being driven back in the north of the country.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his forces will defend every inch of land.
"No matter how many Russian troops are driven there, we will fight," he added.
"We will defend ourselves and we will do it every day.
