Concerns have been raised surrounding a four way junction in a county Cavan town.
The issue was raised by Carmel Brady at the most recent meeting of the Bailieborough-Cootehill MD.
Cllr Brady is concerned about the junction at the top of Cootehill, describing it as very dangerous for people who don't know it.
She noted that locals in the area understand how to use it, but it is not clear to people, who are unfamiliar with it, who has the right of way, as the road markings are faded.
In response it was confirmed that action will be taken in the next number of weeks to address the danger.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Brady outlined the danger of the area.
