Scenes of chaos in Kabul as people try to flee Afghanistan

There are scenes of chaos at Kabul's airport this morning, as people try to flee the country.

The Taliban has taken control of the Afghanistan capital, with militants entering the Presidential palace.

Desperate Afghans and foreign nationals have been filmed climbing structures at the airport in an attempt to board planes, although all commercial flights have been suspended.

The UN Security Council is to hold an emergency meeting later.
