The memoir of Cavan business man Sean Quinn is being launched in the Slieve Russell hotel at 8pm this evening. In the book, the Quinn Group founder gives his own assessment of the fall of his business empire during the financial crash.
In September 2019, the Chief operation officer of Quinn Industrial Holdings Kevin Lunney was kidnapped and tortured. But Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show, Sean Quinn says Kevin Lunney did not play a major role in his removal as chairman of the Quinn group.
"As regards planning it from day one in 2014; getting me out and assuring the Irish Government there would be no claims made against them, and getting all the decks cleared, Kevin Lunney wasn't the chief architect of my betrayal," he added.
