The search at Bragan Bog in Co Monaghan for the remains of Columba McVeigh is expected to be paused this week.

The rainfall that has fallen over the past ten days has made the search very diificult and the dig will be paused until spring time.

The dig began on the 3rd of October for the remains of 19-year-old Columba who was murdered by the IRA and buried in a secret location in 1975.
