The largest percentage decrease in the number of persons on the Live Register in the 12 months to November 2025 was seen in Co Monaghan.
The difference throughout the months was a decrease of 5.3 per cent.
Over 4,000 people were on the live register in Cavan and Monaghan up to the end of November
Figures from the CSO show 2,385 people were on the register in Cavan.
This is followed by 1,754 in Monaghan.
In Cavan the figure is a decrease on the same time last year, where 2,434 people were recorded on the Live Register at the end of November 2025.
It's also a decrease in Monaghan with 1,852 recorded at the same period last year.
Nationally, 162,305 people were on the live register up to the end of November 2025, an increase of the 2024 figure of 158,267.
