There's a call for a public campaign to be launched for an Irish woman missing in Portugal. Cavan native Jean Tighe vanished from the tourist resort of Parede on the 13th of July, 2020.
She was only placed on the missing person's police database in Portugal last week. Her sister Leona says there should be an appeal for help find Jean. "I would certainly be looking for all these people to be re-interviewed and I think that a public appeal should be made in Portugal so that local people know that Jean disappeared from the area and asking them to help us find her.
"That has never been done," she added.
