Fianna Fail's Niamh Smyth has welcomed clarification on the Terms of Reference into the review of the Midwife Led Unit in Cavan General Hospital.
The Cavan TD said the original terms were very broad and non-specific.
Last month it was reported that the RCSI Group were considering changing the Midwife-led Unit in Cavan, before then Health Minister Simon Harris said it had his full support.

She said it's positive that it'll look at enhancing the roles of maternity services in line with the National Maternity Plan.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Niamh Smyth said it's important the unit is given the relevant supports.
