A number of hospitality venues across Co Monaghan have been listed as finalists in this year's prestigious 'Irish Bar Of The Year Awards'. According to the association, after months of rigorous evaluation and deliberation, a judging panel of industry experts have handpicked the best of the bar industry and the 2023 finalists have now been selected across 25 categories.
Andy's Bar in Monaghan town is a finalist in the 'Innovative Bar Of The Year' and 'Gin Bar Of The Year' categories. Elsewhere, Dignams Bar in Castleblayney is a finalist in the 'Local Bar Of The Year' and 'Best Bar To Watch The Match' categories.
Conor's Bar & Lounge at the Castle Leslie Estate, is also in the running for 'Hotel Bar Of The Year' and 'Gastro Bar Of The Year'. The awards ceremony will take place on Monday the 21st of August at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road where the winners will be announced.
