Teddy located following appeal that centered around Monaghan GAA supporters

A blue and yellow dinosaur teddy belonging to a young Galway boy that was at the centre of a major online appeal has been located.
The appeal came after a Galway father and his 9-year-old son attended yesterday’s Quarter final games in Croke Park and were sitting in the Cusack Stand near Monaghan and Louth supporters.

After the Monaghan game, they discovered their backpack was missing and they believed it may have been picked up by mistake.

Inside were two Galway tops, but the most precious item is a blue and yellow dinosaur teddy belonging to the young boy.
The online appeal said he was absolutely devastated, as it means the world to him.

Confirmation from the family this afternoon that the bag has been located and they paid tribute to Monaghan supporters by saying the Monaghan people have been so nice in this pursuit - the amount of goodwill messages from strangers was heartwarming appeal.
