A tender has been published for the refurbishment of the Lennard Arms Hotel in Clones.
Monaghan County Council completed the purchase of the derelict building in July, with the aim of developing it into heritage and exhibition space.
The project has already received some funding to go towards demolition works, with further funding expected for conservation and restoration.

Perspective tendering companies have until October to apply for the demolition and clearance works.
