Three mobile granted permission to retain 30 meter high mast near Shercock

Three Mobile has been granted permission to retain an existing 30 metre high mast in Shercock, County Cavan.

It has also received permission for the addition of six antennae at the site in Taghart South.

The telecommunications service provider had lodged a planning application in March of this year seeking permission to erect a new 36 metre phone mast in Ralaghan and Glasleck, Shercock.

However, that application was withdrawn in July because Three decided to instead retain its existing mast, rather than replacing it with a new one at a different site.
